Supporting girls who have escaped forced marriage, freeing those trapped in bonded labour and schooling for children with disabilities

The Apna Ghar (“My Home”) Safe House, run by the Centre for Legal Assistance and Settlement (CLAAS) in Lahore, provides sanctuary for girls who have escaped forced marriage, abduction, and coerced religious conversion. Many come from impoverished Christian families and face serious danger if found. CLAAS also defends Christians accused under blasphemy laws.

The Epiphany Trust supports the shelter and counselling training, and helps children trapped in bonded labour at Lahore’s brickyards access education and freedom.

The Trust further supports the T.S.A. School for Children with Learning Disabilities, which offers life-skills education, vocational training, creative arts, and family support for around fifty vulnerable students. Through education, medical referrals, and secure employment opportunities, the school empowers children with disabilities to build safer and more independent futures.
