Volunteering

There are lots of opportunities for you to get involved! Spend time at The Arc in Romania; Camp Romania; with street children in Sri Lanka; or join the fund-raising ‘challenge’ – hiking across the Carpathian’s. We can tailor your time with us around personal preference and other commitments you may have. We can also put together a full or part gap year experience. Alternatively, you could get involved by volunteering on a Chrysalis holiday for learning disabled adults, or by becoming an Epiphany Trust rep in your own church or community. Contact the trust if you are interested in becoming a volunteer or would like to find out more about our volunteering programmes.

Voluntary health care professionals needed in Zimbabwe in 2016

Our new project ‘Jessie’s House in Zimbabwe (see projects) is due to open its doors in January 2016. The planned bore-hole on site will benefit 4000 people with clean drinking water. The centre will therefore become the much needed hub of the community. We plan to provide health care to the children attending the centre, and wherever possible their families and the local community. If you are a health professional and are interested in volunteering please get in touch for more information.

Volunteer vacancies in Sri Lanka

We currently are seeking volunteers to work on our projects in Sri Lanka with our partner charity Child Action Lanka (CAL). We have vacancies at our projects in Batticaloa on the east coast and in Killinochchi in the north. Teaching experience and sports skills/leadership are desirable but not essential. We can tailor make your volunteering experience to accommodate your own needs and it is possible to move between our various projects. We value the individual skills which volunteers bring and try to utilise these effectively. Please get in touch if you would like to find out further information. Read about the projects in Batticaloa and Killonichchi under Sri Lankan projects.
